Pasture board is the only product at VH Ranch: $450 a month buys a place in a pasture with other horses and Bermuda plus alfalfa hay fed twice a day, as hay rather than cubes. Jolanda Harvill runs the family operation at 15201 Middle Ranch Rd, taking horses of any age, working or retired, into pastures of varying size with shade trees, water tanks and herd companions, close to the Happy Camp trails. The ranch doubles as a private location for photoshoots and filming and keeps specially trained production horses on site; visitors sign a liability agreement first.
