This Provider Listing Agreement (“Agreement”) applies to anyone who creates a business listing on HorseCareFinder (“HorseCareFinder,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), whether on the Free, Monthly, Annual, or Lifetime/Founding plan. By submitting a listing, you (“Provider,” “you”) agree to this Agreement in addition to our general Terms of Service.
1. Overview
HorseCareFinder is a directory platform that displays your business information to horse owners searching for equine services. We are not a party to, and assume no responsibility for, any service relationship, agreement, or transaction between you and a horse owner who finds you through the Site.
2. Listing Tiers and Fees
Current listing plans are:
- Free โ basic listing, displayed in search and category browsing; direct contact information is not publicly displayed
- Monthly โ $19/month, billed monthly; includes full contact info display, photo gallery, verified badge, and priority placement
- Annual โ $149/year, billed annually; same benefits as Monthly at a discounted annual rate
- Lifetime/Founding โ $299 one-time payment, capped at the first 100 providers; same benefits as Annual with no recurring billing, plus a Founding badge
We may change pricing or plan benefits for future signups at any time. Changes to pricing will not retroactively apply to your current billing cycle without notice.
3. Accuracy of Your Listing Information
You’re responsible for ensuring all information in your listing โ business name, contact details, service area, licensing or certification claims, pricing, photos, and service descriptions โ is accurate and kept current. You agree to update your listing promptly if any of this information changes.
HorseCareFinder does not independently verify licensing, certification, insurance, or other credentials claimed in your listing. You are solely responsible for the truthfulness of any claim you make in your listing, including any certifications, years of experience, or service guarantees.
4. Public Display of Your Information
By submitting a listing, you consent to the following display of your information, based on your plan:
- Free plan: your business name, category, and general service area are displayed publicly. Direct contact information (phone, email, website) is not publicly displayed.
- Monthly, Annual, and Lifetime/Founding plans: your full listing, including direct contact information, is displayed publicly as part of your plan’s benefits.
You may update or remove your listing at any time through your provider dashboard, subject to Section 8 below.
5. Billing, Renewal, and Cancellation
Monthly and Annual plans automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through your provider dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and your listing will revert to the Free plan tier (or be removed, per your preference) afterward.
Lifetime/Founding plans are a one-time payment with no recurring billing.
Refund policy: Monthly plans are non-refundable once a billing period begins. Annual plans may be eligible for a prorated refund within the first 30 days of purchase. Lifetime/Founding plans are non-refundable after 14 days.
6. Lifetime/Founding Plan Cap
The Lifetime/Founding plan is limited to the first 100 providers who purchase it. Once that cap is reached, the plan will no longer be available for new purchases; existing Founding members keep their plan and benefits regardless of future changes to other tiers.
7. Content Standards
Your listing must not contain:
- False or misleading claims about your services, credentials, or experience
- Offensive, discriminatory, or unlawful content
- Photos or content you don’t have the rights to use
- Contact information or links unrelated to your actual business
We reserve the right to edit, reject, or remove any listing or listing content that violates these standards.
8. Our Right to Modify or Remove Listings
We may suspend, edit, or remove your listing at our discretion if it violates this Agreement, our Terms of Service, contains inaccurate or fraudulent information, or if your account becomes delinquent on payment (for paid plans). We’ll make reasonable efforts to notify you before removing a listing, except in cases of suspected fraud or abuse.
9. Reviews
Listings may display reviews submitted by horse owners. You agree not to submit fake reviews of your own business, manipulate review content, or offer incentives in exchange for reviews in a way that violates applicable consumer protection laws.
10. Independent Business Relationship
You are an independent business, not an employee, agent, or representative of HorseCareFinder. Nothing in this Agreement creates a partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between you and HorseCareFinder. You are solely responsible for the services you provide to horse owners, including their quality, safety, and legality.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold HorseCareFinder harmless from any claims, damages, injuries, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from the services you provide to horse owners, any inaccurate information in your listing, or your violation of this Agreement.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HorseCareFinder is not liable for any damages, lost business, or disputes arising from your listing, including technical issues affecting its display, search ranking, or visibility.
13. Term and Termination
This Agreement remains in effect as long as you maintain an active listing on HorseCareFinder. Either party may terminate by removing the listing โ you through your dashboard, or us per Section 8. Sections regarding indemnification, limitation of liability, and accuracy of past information survive termination.
14. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
15. Changes to This Agreement
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date above. Continuing to maintain an active listing after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
