About Our Equine Operations
Leda Mox holds a bachelor’s degree in Equine Science from the University of Minnesota and has been a Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist since 1997; she is also a Certified Equine Kinesiology Tape Instructor. Work out of Becker splits between hands-on bodywork and instruction. A four-day AEM-1 Foundation course runs most months of the year, AEM-2 Advanced five times a year, a two-day Horse Owners class at $595 and a one-day introduction at $125. Coursework covers safe animal handling, anatomy, bio-security, client relations, marketing and legal, plus a guest veterinarian talk, and students who pass every test at 90 per cent or higher receive a Certification of Achievement from the business. Fieldwork follows the classroom: four horses, massaged four times each. Dogs are treated as well as horses.
