About Our Equine Operations
Ground-level work with horses, never riding, is what the Coeur d’Alene stables offer: the site states plainly that “Clients do not mount, ride, or learn horsemanship skills.” Sessions follow the EAGALA model, which the programme says needs three roles, “a licensed Mental Health Professional trained in EAP, a credentialed Equine Specialist” and the horse itself. Youth and young adults aged nine to twenty-four are seen for 60-90 minutes, typically across eight to sixteen weekly appointments. Individual, family and group counselling is booked at the same address, 6305 W Quaking Aspen Dr, weekdays from 8am to 5pm with some evening and weekend slots. Most Idaho Medicaid plans are taken and the location is in-network with many private insurers; families may self-refer, and schools and physicians may refer in.
