About Our Equine Operations
At 3515 Hwy 231 N in Shelbyville, this equine practice runs in-house and ambulatory work under Dr Belinda Mendenhall, a 2007 Oregon State graduate who joined in April 2012 and now runs the clinic. Dr Stephen Mullins, Auburn 1980, joined in January 2013, and Dr Logan Brown, Oklahoma State 2023, in November 2024. Digital radiography, digital ultrasound, endoscopy and an in-house laboratory covering chemistry, CBC, Cushing’s, insulin testing and faecal egg counts are all available at the clinic and in the field. Two broodmare reproduction packages are priced: $650 per cycle for fresh or cooled semen, $800 for frozen, board included, with pregnancy ultrasound at day 16 and a heartbeat check at day 25. Mendenhall is also certified in acupuncture by the Chi Institute.
