About Our Equine Operations
Nuclear scintigraphy and MRI sit alongside digital radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy and gastroscopy at the Thompson’s Station referral hospital at 1508 Thompson Station Road West, which the practice moved into in 1998 and expanded in 2008 to add surgical, imaging, reproduction and isolation facilities. The business dates to 1991 and now runs a hub-and-spoke model, the main hospital supported by four urgent care clinics. Complete blood counts, serum chemistry and fecal egg counts are run in house at every location, with endocrinology and disease-specific testing sent to outside labs. Reproduction covers pre-breeding exams, stallion collection, semen freezing and embryo transfer by uterine lavage. Dentistry, chiropractic, acupuncture and laser therapy are also offered, and emergency care is available 24/7.
