Adults only, by appointment, no walk-ins. Private lessons for beginner adults cost $110 a session or $425 for four, and guided private trail rides are also sold, worked out of Burbank and Griffith Park and around the Los Angeles Equestrian Center rather than a barn of its own. Davee Hallinan opened the business in 2011, has ridden since 1984 and taught and trained in Los Angeles since 2000, and names rescued horses and senior horse care as her focus. Training comes in two tiers: $1,200 a month full service, bundling two private lessons a week, trainer rides, grooming, first aid and vet coordination, or $750 partial. On-call care is priced by the task, $25 for lunging or groundwork up to $50 for a light exercise ride. A Trainer on Tap evaluation is $200.
