About Our Equine Operations
Water does much of the work here. A 46-foot pool holds a 10-foot treadmill with jets, so horses move chest-deep at their natural gaits for low-impact conditioning, and a Nautilus salt water spa runs cold aerated brine over the lower legs for inflammation and injury. An 80-foot Centaur Eurociser exercises eight horses at once, from a walk to a gallop at up to 20mph on banked ground. Dry work includes Regenerative Laser Therapy for tendons, ligaments and scar tissue, a Game Ready cold-compression unit and a Flexineb E3 nebuliser for RAO and IAD; shockwave comes in through a partner veterinary hospital. Shane M. Miller, DVM, Dipl. ACVS, oversees the place at 320 Hwy 88, Gardnerville.
