About Our Equine Operations
Hunters and jumpers are the work at this 15-acre Woodstock barn at 5116 Mt. Thabor Road, run by owner-trainer Maureen Zahler. She holds bachelor of science degrees in English Equestrian Studies and Business Management from the University of Findlay in Ohio, and has ridden hunter, jumper and equitation divisions as well as studying dressage. Lessons are private and sold by the month: $325 for one 45-minute lesson a week, $650 for two, additional lessons at $75 for package holders or $85 without, under a 24-hour cancellation rule. The radiant-heated barn holds 25 stalls at 10 by 10 or 10 by 12 feet, with individual paddocks, pastures, live-in staff and a heated washrack. Clipping runs $25 for a show trim to $175 for a body clip. Horses are not hired out and there are no trail rides.
