About Our Equine Operations
Millstone Stables traces back to 2011, when owners Mike and Carolyn Purcell began offering riding lessons after their granddaughters took an interest in horses, later building the current 16-acre property on North Arnold Mill Road in Woodstock. The English hunter/jumper facility centres on a Morton-built barn with twelve 12-by-12 stalls fitted with individual fans and rubber matting, plus a 100-by-200-foot LED-lit outdoor arena with irrigation and nine half-acre paddocks on four-board fencing. Boarding includes custom grain regimens, quality hay, twice-daily stall cleaning, turnout, blanketing and night checks, with clipping, grooming and hand-walking available for an additional fee. The property also has climate-controlled space for an office, break room, tack room and shower facilities.
