Haleigh Lundgreen, DVM opened this Riverton practice in 2016, after a Colorado State veterinary degree and an internship at Equine Sports Medicine and Surgery in Weatherford, Texas. Portable ultrasound and x-ray travel with her across Salt Lake, Utah, Summit and Wasatch counties, and sometimes into Tooele, Davis, Weber and Morgan. Gait evaluations are recommended two to four times a year with a recheck at 30 days, and treatment options include joint injections, mesotherapy, shockwave and regenerative therapy. Chiropractic follows a published schedule — three adjustments two to four weeks apart, then every four to twelve weeks — and is carried out in the owner’s own barn, no sedative required. Also listed: gastroscopy, field surgery, dental work, Coggins and health certificates, and emergency medicine for current clients only.
