About Our Equine Operations
Three veterinarians run this mobile practice out of Monument Street in Concord. Fred Nostrant, a Tufts graduate who interned at a sport horse practice in Connecticut, is a USEF Official Veterinarian and has served as team veterinarian for USA Dressage at international events. Stephanie Shen, also Tufts-trained and part owner, holds acupuncture certification from the Chi Institute in Florida. Cory Branscomb came through a sports medicine internship at Virginia Equine Imaging and is certified in chiropractic medicine for all species by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association. Dentistry runs to oral exams under a speculum with standing sedation, skull radiographs allowing a more detailed exam of the tooth roots and bone quality, extractions, and a water-cooled float system. Functional electric stimulation is applied to horses out of work through injury, thirty minutes a site.
