The Neuman family has raised, sold and raced Thoroughbreds since 1897, according to the agency’s own history; Alex Neuman, formerly Director of Sales at Kirk Horse Insurance, opened the agency under that name in 2012 at 3363 Tates Creek Road, Suite 204. Placements go only to carriers rated A or better by AM Best, domestic and international. The equine book runs to mortality, race horse owner’s liability, personal and general horse owner’s liability, show and event liability, umbrella liability, riding club and association liability, care, custody and control, and horse farm cover for any size of farm. Trainers, riding schools and horse camps are written, and cover extends to importing and exporting horses.
