Dr Cooper Williams, VMD, founded his own practice in 1989 and now works from 720 N Houcksville Road, Hampstead, as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation since 2014 and a certified ISELP instructor since 2009. He qualified at the University of Pennsylvania in 1984. The practice is primarily ambulatory around greater Baltimore, with day trips to Frederick, Southern Maryland, Potomac and the Eastern Shore in a truck carrying radiography, ultrasound, PRP processors, shockwave machines and a videoendoscope. Casework centres on lameness and performance examinations built around a Whole Horse philosophy, pre-purchase and insurance exams, gastroscopy, and orthobiologic treatments including IRAP, extracellular matrix and alpha-2 macroglobulin.
