About Our Equine Operations
Jennifer Hulcher, a multiple ApHC World and National Champion, took over this Pilot Point hydrotherapy business in 2013; it has operated since 2006 and claims to have been the second equine spa in the United States to install a cold saltwater spa. Water in the EquiSpa sits at 35 degrees and carries epsom and sea salts, used for acute and chronic problems of the leg and hoof. An Aqua Pacer handles conditioning work, and a saltwater lap pool suits low-impact exercise before or after surgery and dropped pasterns in foals. Conditions listed run from tendon injuries, suspensory desmitis and infected tendon sheaths through arthritis, sore shins and splints to laminitis, bruised soles and abscesses. Dogs are treated as well as horses.
