About Our Equine Operations
An in-ground aquatread with adjustable water depth and a saltwater cold spa cooled to 35 F anchor the rehab program at 5501 Balcom Canyon Road in Somis. Gait is tracked weekly with an Equinosis Q, three wireless sensors feeding lameness locator software that guides when a horse moves up a tier. Care is banded: tier one is a stall with twice-daily 20-minute handwalks and medications three times a day; tier two adds a custom weekly-updated plan with laser therapy three times a week; tier three adds the aquatread and progressive ridden work. Other modalities include PEMF by BEMER blanket and MagPro coils, and Rapid Release Therapy. Stabling runs to 12-by-12 boxes, 12-by-24 in-out runs and covered mare motel stalls, with two FIBAR jumping arenas and an exercise track.
