About Our Equine Operations
One clinic, three species: the Two Notch Road SE practice treats horses alongside dogs and cats, the latter either in clinic or at home. Laura McKinnon, DVM, a Berry College and University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine graduate, is the only veterinarian listed, with Lauren Admire as veterinary assistant. Fully stocked ambulatory vehicles cover a wide geographic area and haul-ins are accepted. Equine services listed are preventative care and vaccination, dentistry, ophthalmology, lameness exams, pre-purchase exams, ultrasonography, digital radiography and an in-house laboratory; small animal work adds routine soft tissue surgery and parasite prevention. Friday hours end at 12.30pm, and a separate emergency line is published alongside the clinic number.
