About Our Equine Operations
Five veterinarians work out of 3810 County Road 12 North in Buffalo, running an ambulatory practice that covers what the clinic calls the West metro: “If you live West of Minneapolis, our veterinarians are in your area daily.” Practice owner Dr Winstead Kirkpatrick graduated from Oklahoma State in 2014; Dr Steve Boster came out of the University of Minnesota in 1990. Dentistry is treated as its own discipline, listing oral examination, dental radiography, equilibration, extractions and periodontal treatment. The sports medicine side runs soundness and lameness evaluations, then treats with IRAP, platelet rich plasma, Pro-Stride, stem cells, mesotherapy, shockwave and rehabilitation plans. Reproductive work covers uterine culture and biopsy, ultrasound insemination timing, Caslicks procedures, stallion semen collection and neonatal foal care.
