About Our Equine Operations
Scheduled horse-hauling routes leave weekly from a home office and main terminal at 10042 FM 1385, Pilot Point, north of Dallas/Fort Worth. Joe and Joan McGee started the business in 1986; family members now run dispatch, with Mike Alexander as president and east coast dispatcher and Colton Alexander covering Texas. The Pilot Point base holds an office, a layover barn and 23 acres of pasture and turnout, used to rest and acclimatise horses between legs of longer journeys. Four shipping options are offered: door-to-door on shared weekly routes, private charter, special shipments and track moves. Long-haul air-ride vans carry up to fifteen horses; drivers stop every four to five hours and rigs run GPS tracking.
