About Our Equine Operations
Sessions run about 90 minutes and happen wherever the horse is most settled — never on cross-ties, because Megan Dushin wants the animal free to move between techniques. Working out of St Paul as a Masterson Method Certified Practitioner, Coach and Instructor, she describes the job as locating “areas of pain and restriction” and then releasing tension to improve performance and wellbeing. Owners are asked to make sure the horse has had free choice hay or grass beforehand, and not to book close to a feed time. She also runs free two-hour bodywork demos at Twin Cities barns and interactive demos of four to eight people, with an hour set aside for hands-on practice. Her stated position is that the method does not replace veterinary care; she refers owners on to vets, dentists and farriers.
