About Our Equine Operations
Deana Fisher taught secondary English for 24 years before corrective shoeing brought her own off-the-track Thoroughbred sound and sent her to the Minnesota School of Horseshoeing, where she graduated in fall 2024. She apprenticed for a year with two local farriers and still works twice weekly under a third. Her truck handles balanced trims mapped around the coffin joint, hot and cold forged metal shoes in Khan C8, St. Croix Eventer, Natural Balance and Avanti stock, and Easy Care glue-on composites on a six- to eight-week cycle, plus wedge and frog-support pads, hoof packings and ice studs. Posted prices start at $50 for a maintenance trim. She covers eleven Minnesota counties, Hennepin among them, and works on ponies, minis, donkeys and mules as well as horses.
