About Our Equine Operations
Stillwater Equine Veterinary Clinic runs a full-service equine hospital on 60th Street North alongside a mobile practice that travels to client farms. Dr. Zachariah Loppnow, a board-certified large-animal surgeon, leads surgical cases spanning orthopaedic and soft-tissue procedures, while medical directors Dr. Jon Engstrom and Dr. Alisa Stejskal oversee a team of eight further veterinarians. The clinic’s dentistry page describes sedation with full-mouth speculum exams, floating to remove sharp enamel points, and extraction for tooth root abscesses, overgrowths and fractured teeth. In-house veterinarians also perform chiropractic adjustments, alongside laser therapy, shockwave therapy and regenerative medicine using PRP and IRAP. Other work includes breeding and neonatal care, ophthalmology, pre-purchase exams, diagnostics and laboratory testing, and 24/7 emergency coverage.
