About Our Equine Operations
Liz Reader was named 2023 Trainer of the Year by Practical Horseman Magazine for the hunter/jumper and dressage programme she has run at Pair Of Aces Stables since founding it in 2006 on Reno’s 13-acre Silver Circle Ranch. Her Horsemanship Academy takes riders age six and up through group lessons capped at five students, alongside private lessons scheduled as availability allows. Horses accepted for care are enrolled in the full training programme rather than kept independently: bedded box stalls with attached runs, quality hay, turnout and blanketing come bundled with a monthly training fee that also covers scheduled lessons, professional rides, and coordination of veterinary, farrier and bodywork appointments. The stable frames training as an individual craft rather than a fixed formula.
