About Our Equine Operations
Reno-Tahoe Equestrian Centre trains Arabian sport horses out of a Pleasant Valley property built around climate-controlled indoor arenas measuring 100 feet and 200 feet, with a Kiser water and drag system for footing. The barn holds 32 box stalls at 12 feet by 12 feet, five heated grooming bays and grassy turnouts, with a farrier providing service on site. Rather than teaching general horsemanship alone, the centre builds students toward Arabian-specific show divisions: showmanship, side saddle, native costume, show hack, arena trail and ranch riding, with beginners starting in showmanship before moving into a speciality. A clubhouse with a wet bar and billiards doubles as a special-events venue, and lesson rates are offered on flexible cash or card packages.
