About Our Equine Operations
Two quite different trades share one Missoula property. On the programme side Madalyn Borntraeger, CTRI-certified with an ESML certificate and thirteen years of teaching behind her, leads one-to-one mounted and unmounted work supported by each rider’s volunteer team, with Morgan Beavers, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Candidate who took a counselling master’s at Adams State in 2024, as mental health professional. Montana Medicaid pays where a client carries the Big Sky Waiver and a caseworker’s prior authorisation referral; private insurance does not. Mounted activities stop at 220 pounds. On the stables side, pasture board or a stall with limited outdoor access is let weekly or monthly, horses fed and checked daily, with worming, vaccination and hoof care arranged at the owner’s request, plus haul-in arena use at day rates.
