About Our Equine Operations
East West Veterinary Care is a mobile equine practice founded in Canton in 2017 by Dr. Amanda Cerniglia, a 2007 University of Georgia veterinary graduate, and her husband Nick Cerniglia. Dr. Cerniglia has been certified in equine chiropractic by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association since 2012 and completed acupuncture training at the Chi Institute in 2016, and the practice blends those modalities with conventional Western veterinary medicine. Alongside full-body chiropractic and acupuncture, services include lameness evaluation, diagnostic imaging, vaccinations, herbal treatment and dental exams, with veterinarian Dr. Natalie Richardson rounding out the clinical team. The practice travels to horses across the Canton area rather than seeing patients from a fixed clinic building.
