About Our Equine Operations
Judge Manning Horse Transportation was established in 1978 with a single vehicle and has operated from Dutchess County ever since, now based on Mechanic Street in Amenia. A federally licensed motor carrier permitted to run throughout the United States and Canada, the company fields a fleet ranging from four-horse gooseneck trailers to fifteen-horse tractor trailers, with box-stall and stall-and-a-half configurations. Local runs stay close to home, regional trips cover the Eastern Seaboard from New York to Florida, and longer moves extend cross-country and across the Canadian border with customs broker support. The company also runs emergency transportation and equine ambulance service across six counties in partnership with area veterinary clinics, handles USDA quarantine pickups, and coordinates air freight shipments. It has belonged to the National Horse Carriers Association since 1983.
