About Our Equine Operations
Ambulatory across Ventura County, from Ventura and Ojai out to Somis, Moorpark and Simi Valley, Pacific View Equine is the practice Clint McKnight opened in September 2010, after a year-long medical and surgical internship at Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital near Seattle and six years as an associate there. He took his veterinary degree at Ross University in 2004, and was born and raised in Ventura County, graduating from Fillmore High School. Chiropractic is his second discipline: he graduated from the Options for Animals school of animal chiropractic and is IVCA certified, treating dogs as well as horses, with hand thrusts rather than vibrating machines. Dentals are done under mild sedation with a speculum and a Power Float. Radiographs use a wireless Sound Eklin system.
