About Our Equine Operations
Christy Garavetto began studying massage for people straight out of high school, added courses in needleless acupuncture, then trained as a veterinary assistant; a few years after moving to Prescott she opened a bodywork practice for horses, dogs and cats built on acupressure. Sessions start light, working through the nervous system to earn a horse’s trust before going deeper into the muscular layers, on the reasoning that tension is held from a fight, flight or freeze response. Most horses, she writes, respond within three to six sessions at one a week, depending on how long they have had an issue. She is a MagnaWave PEMF certified practitioner, and also sells the pocket-sized Vibe device with its equivibe band and a consultation. She works across Central and Northern Arizona from Prescott; post goes to Dewey.
