About Our Equine Operations
Bridget Bourke took her veterinary degree at Texas A&M in 2010 and followed it with two year-long internships before setting up alone, treating horses and goats across Alachua, Gilchrist, Union, Levy and Suwannee counties from a base in High Springs. Acupuncture is a genuine arm of the practice: she trained at the Chi Institute and uses electro-acupuncture and aqua-acupuncture with vitamin B12 injections for sport-horse stiffness, PPID, COPD, laminitis and broodmare fertility. Wellness packages are priced in the open, from $470 a year for Core to $565 for Plus on horses under five, with a $315 senior add-on. Lameness workups use local nerve blocks with digital radiology and ultrasound. Office hours are 9 to 4 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
