About Our Equine Operations
Barbara A. McGinnis, a certified veterinary technician, runs this hunter-jumper barn on 50 acres at 3802 Kratz Road. Lessons are sold to boarders and non-boarders alike: an hour privately costs $125 for non-boarders and $75 for boarders, group hours are $75 and $45, and ten lessons can be bought as a package for $675. Groups are capped at six riders and the lesson horses live on the property. Monthly board is quoted at $1,000 to $1,100, with shavings at $60 and a $140 annual charge covering scheduling and supervision of farrier and veterinary visits. Summer camp runs in two-, four- and six-week blocks for children aged 7 to 16, 9am to 3:30pm, capped at fifteen, with an hour and a half of riding each day. Telephone 610-489-0480.
