The imaging list is specific: Sound NEXT and MyRad digital radiography, three ultrasound machines including an Aloka 500-V kept for reproductive work, a 3.5-metre video gastroscope for gastric ulcers and a one-metre Sony endoscope for the airway. Dr Ashley Galen, DVM, MS, manages the practice and is IVCA-certified in veterinary chiropractic; Dr Valerie Pflughoeft, DVM, CVA, is IVAS-certified in veterinary acupuncture. Breeding work covers soundness exams, insemination with shipped semen, live-cover timing and foal IgG testing. The listed service area reaches across Pierce County from Anderson Island to Wilkeson, plus parts of King, Kitsap and Thurston counties, with emergency cover at any hour.
