About Our Equine Operations
Strohfus Stock Farm sits in Denmark Township, in the south-eastern corner of Washington County, and has run commercial horse boarding for more than 40 years as part of an active family farm that also grows hay and raises Angus beef. Owners John and Jeanie Strohfus operate three barns with stalls from 8 by 10 to 10 by 12, an unheated 72-by-144-foot indoor arena, and two outdoor arenas. The farm does not run its own lesson or training programme; independent trainers and instructors instead pay an hourly facility fee to work with boarding clients on site, and farrier and veterinary visits are scheduled with consolidated invoicing. Described on its site as open to riders from the once-a-month casual trail rider to the most serious show competitor, the farm also sells Centaur fencing and Ritchie waterers.
