About Our Equine Operations
Jody Taylor, a Certified Horsemanship Association instructor, has run this Godley yard since 2003 and teaches alongside fellow CHA instructor Laurin Austin. Instruction covers basic horsemanship and riding in western and English tack, advancing to Training level eventing, Training level dressage and hunter/jumpers, with coaching at shows and cross-country schooling available. School horses are reserved for beginners, and children can start at about six. Board runs from self-care through to full care at 9101 CR 1127, and equine transport is offered as a separate service. The ranch lists membership of the CHA, USEA, Area V Eventing, NTEA, NTHJC and AQHA. Its own pages quote lessons two ways: $55 for a 45-minute to one-hour lesson with $65 on Saturdays, and elsewhere $70 for a full hour.
