About Our Equine Operations
Opened in April 2021, the Maple Plain store at 5135 Oak Street is the newest of five Spikes & Houles retail locations. Its equine aisles run past bagged grain into horse treats, skin and coat care, nutritional supplements, accessories and equipment, insect control such as WeatherBeeta fly wraps, and heated horse supplies. Feed brands listed include Standlee, Triple Crown, Tribute, Purina Equine, Power Gold and Unbeetable. The company mills some of its own products, including wild bird feed and grass seed, at a historic 1800s mill in Delano, and offers curbside pickup and delivery alongside in-store shopping. Doors open at 8am Monday through Saturday and 10am on Sunday.
