About Our Equine Operations
The Murdock Canal Trail, 17 miles open year-round to riders, walkers and cyclists, is reachable directly from this Highland yard at 6245 W 10400 N. Ammie Lords teaches privately to all levels from age five up and lists over 25 years of experience in training, showing and instruction, working horses through all levels of dressage and jumping plus basic hacking and ground manners. Training rides are priced by the clock: $40 for 30 minutes, $50 for 45 and $60 for an hour, with weekly blocks from $75 to $165 and a monthly programme at $650. Horses must already be started under saddle. A 60-foot round pen is laid with sand and ArenaAid footing.
