About Our Equine Operations
Riders at this Collegeville non-profit work through twelve-week sessions with a certified instructor, and the standard format is a private one-hour lesson that includes grooming and tacking up the horse beforehand. A half-hour ride-only lesson is available where the physical therapist recommends it at evaluation. Alongside therapeutic riding the organisation runs hippotherapy, in which students work with one of its own physical therapists, plus Groundschool for unmounted horsemanship, Intro to Horses, Riding Free and a mobile outreach called Vinnie’s Adventures. Applications ask for a physician’s prescription and a medical history form. Summer day camp runs 3–7 August, 9am to 2pm, at $400 for the week, open to therapeutic riders and their siblings from age seven. The Collegeville site is 3589 Water Street Road.
