Horses in Snohomish County are seen at 11308 92nd St SE, Bldg 4, where the equine side of Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital runs both an ambulatory service and a referral hospital answering emergencies around the clock. Surgical work listed includes arthroscopy, laparoscopy, fracture repair and colic surgery. Sports medicine covers chiropractic evaluation and adjustment, acupuncture and mesotherapy. The reproduction service handles artificial insemination, embryo recovery and transfer and pregnancy examinations for mares, and semen evaluation, cryopreservation and frozen semen storage for stallions. Imaging runs to digital radiography, ultrasound and MRI, with in-house haematology, blood gases, serum chemistry, cytology and parasitology.
