About Our Equine Operations
Pickering Equine operates from Worthington Road in Chester Springs, combining an ambulatory sports-medicine practice with a rehabilitation facility built around water and dry treadmills. Hope Batchelor, DVM, a Certified Equine Rehabilitation and Performance Veterinarian, treats suspensory and tendon injuries, surgical cases and ophthalmic cases at the facility. Both boarders and ship-in horses are accepted, whether recovering from injury or continuing full training, and outside consulting veterinarians are welcome to work alongside the practice’s own care. Dr. Batchelor is also a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist registered with Chi University and the World Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.
