About Our Equine Operations
A not-for-profit board operation on Route 108 in Highland, Howard County, keeps 29 horses across more than 40 acres divided into seven pastures of 3.5 to 10.8 acres each. Rates are posted per pasture and run from $225 a month for field board through $245 for a field with stall access, $280 for stalls in the smallest group and $310 for the three stalled pastures; capacity in each runs from three to six horses, and pasture six takes geldings only. Run-in sheds, tack rooms and hay storage come with the pastures, some with shower stalls and centre aisles. Schooley Mill Park sits next door, a short walk from a 350-by-150-foot maintained ring, an eventing course and miles of trail. Tours are arranged through the barn manager.
