About Our Equine Operations
English riding is the focus at 1800 E. 49th S. in Idaho Falls, where Sally Parks and Jessie Klingler teach and train. Instruction is offered in all disciplines, hunters, jumpers and Western among them, given privately or in small groups; every new rider starts with a $75 assessment lesson so the trainer can judge where they are and what they want. Lessons cover horse care and tack maintenance as well as riding, and the indoor arena is heated over Tru-Tex footing. Horses kept here must be in the training programme, which runs $1,250 a month and takes in a customised feeding plan, daily turnout and blanketing, a basic clip, laundry, stall cleaning and coordination of farrier and vet visits.
