About Our Equine Operations
Hay goes out three times a day to the barn and shed-row horses here — orchard grass morning and night, an alfalfa and grass mix at midday — while field horses are fed twice, on meadow grass through the growing season and alfalfa-grass in winter. Owner-supplied bagged supplements are fed at no extra charge, and manure is recycled as footing and compost. Kimberlee Tarter, who owns the gated property at 1019 Noble Court in Minden, was given her first horse at five, a Shetland pony called Candy, and still shows with her daughter at schooling and rated USEF fixtures. Heated automatic waterers, slow-feed hay nets, ceiling fans, misters and a fly abatement programme come with a stall, as do spring and autumn health clinics.
