About Our Equine Operations
Mock Brothers Saddlery has operated in Sand Springs since 1941, when brothers Albert, Archie and Claude Mock opened their first shop in the old stockyards off Charles Page Boulevard. The business passed to third-generation brothers Brett and Greg Mock, who remain active in ranching and rodeo circles, and a fourth generation, Brett’s sons Ethan and Daniel, is now learning the trade. The shop builds and sells new and used saddles, cinches, hand-tooled leather wallets and custom leather gear alongside a western wear line of belts, shirts, hats, boots and ropes. Its leatherwork has been commissioned by the country act Brooks & Dunn and by professional rodeo competitors. Now on West 9th Street, the shop continues the saddlemaking approach it was built on more than eighty years ago.
