Shane C. Baird took his DVM from Colorado State University in 2002, worked five years for Dr John Young and bought the practice in 2007. It runs as a mobile equine service from 10600 W 50th Ave, Wheat Ridge, covering Arvada, Aspen Park, Broomfield, South Boulder, Conifer, Evergreen, Golden, Idaho Springs, Lakewood, Morrison, Pine, Shaffer’s Crossing, Wheat Ridge and Gilpin County. Dental radiographs are taken at the roadside, the practice noting that its equipment allows high-quality images in the field with the images immediately available for review, and they are used to find infected or fractured tooth roots and to plan extractions. Allison Hartman, DVM and Madi Levitsky, DVM also practise here. Lameness evaluation is named as a speciality, and 24-hour emergency cover is offered to active clients in good standing.
