About Our Equine Operations
Miss Me Not Farm boards horses on the private McCleary Ranch in Washoe Valley, a property that has run pasture and stall boarding since 2001. Horses are grouped into small pastures rather than kept solo: premium pasture board limits herds to two or four animals on a minimum of two grass acres, while standard pasture board turns horses out in herds of four or five across ten to twenty-five acres with seasonal hay fields. Stall board adds all-day turnout, hay, grain, deworming and blanketing, and every horse has access to two outdoor arenas, a round pen and covered wash stalls. The farm also runs a German Oldenburg breeding programme started in 2004 around the mare Miss Me Not, and operates a working CSA selling organic produce, hay and firewood.
