About Our Equine Operations
Established in 1992 by Jo Motion, the two-story shop at 103 West Federal Street sells consigned, new and used equestrian equipment, with tack and apparel upstairs and boots, saddles and blankets below. Foxhunting is the specialty: hunt jackets, pinks and frock coats, hunt caps, top hats and derbies, and appointments including gentlemen’s and ladies’ flasks, sandwich cases, hunting horns, whips, wire-cutters and hound couples. Two saddle horses on the floor let buyers try saddles, and saddle fitting is offered. The shop reports well over 15,000 consignors and now takes incoming consignment by appointment only, asking that items arrive clean. Doors open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, cash and in-state checks are accepted.
