About Our Equine Operations
Despite its name, Middleburg Riding operates from Zulla Road in The Plains, where instructor Jennifer Brooks Lee runs what the school calls a structured hunter/jumper riding programme. Lessons range from an $85 private evaluation to weekly subscriptions at $330 a month, or $660 for twice-weekly riding, plus a $100 monthly Saturday horsemanship class, with school horses and equipment supplied for riders up to 180 pounds. The programme fields Interscholastic Equestrian Association teams at middle school, high school and adult levels, and runs camps built around what shows will judge. The school also offers horse and pony leasing for students who want an ownership-style experience without buying.
