About Our Equine Operations
Gary and Jennifer McDonald built this farm on Peak View Road in 1998, continuing the McDonald Arabians name from the family’s earlier Salt Lake City operation. Arabian Horse Times has named their halter program the number one breeder of halter futurity winners in consecutive years, and horses tied to the farm include U.S. National Champion Bey Monet TRJ and World Cup champion FH Djamila. Gary keeps no more than 40 horses in the training barn at once, judges at national level for the Arabian Horse Association and USEF, and founded the Scottsdale Signature Stallion program. Stallions standing at stud include Marwan Al Magnifficoo and PA Gazsi. Visitors can book halter or riding lessons at $85 an hour, ranch tours from $100 per group, or hands-on grooming at $75.
