About Our Equine Operations
Dr. Caleb Lund, DVM, MS, DACVS-LA, describes himself on the practice’s own site as the only full-time board-certified equine surgeon in the greater Yellowstone area, a claim he backs with a veterinary degree from Colorado State University, an internship at Pioneer Equine Hospital in California, and a three-year surgical residency at Washington State University. Practising from Highway 312 in Billings, Lund is also a fifth-generation Wyoming rancher who has authored peer-reviewed papers on minimally invasive equine surgery and handles colic operations, arthroscopic and laparoscopic procedures, fracture repair in adult and juvenile horses, and soft-tissue and orthopaedic cases. Dr. Deidre Loendorf, a Montana native who trained at Washington State University, rounds out the practice with further work in reproduction, sports medicine and critical care.
