About Our Equine Operations
Glenwood’s 501(c)(3) runs three distinct programmes from one yard. Riding lessons take ages five to adult against Certified Horsemanship Association and PATH International guidelines, priced for 2026 at $105 private, $90 semi-private and $80 in a group of three or four. Equine assisted learning is facilitated by Marya Pecukonis, M.S., NBCT, a PATH Intl. CTRI and ESMHL who was named that body’s National Credentialed Professional of the Year in 2020. Counselling is separate: an equine assisted psychotherapy session costs $150 and is led by Dr Ed Pecukonis, MSW, Ph.D., a tenured professor at the University of Maryland School of Social Work. Vanessa O’Connor holds LCSW-C alongside CTRI, ESMHL and EAGALA certification. Riders complete medical release, equine activity release and medical history forms first.
